Appliance Installation Terms
Basic installation requires that all existing connections, outlets, waterlines, drains, vents, required parts, and installation spaces are ready, accessible, safe, compatible, and code-compliant before the delivery team arrives. If the site is not ready, installation may be refused or limited, and the appliance may still be delivered without installation.
Additional charges may apply for services not included in basic installation.
Refrigerators
(Free Worth of $179, Including Haul-Away Service where eligible)
Basic installation is included for eligible freestanding refrigerators. Basic installation includes connecting the refrigerator waterline to an existing accessible waterline located directly behind the refrigerator, where applicable.
Basic installation is not included for built-in refrigerators or freezers, column refrigerators or freezers, panel-ready refrigerators or freezers, ice makers, or other compact refrigeration products.
If installation is required for a product that is not eligible for basic installation, or if a new waterline must be installed or extended, please contact us and we can help connect you with a qualified technician at competitive price.

Basic installation is included for eligible washers. Washer basic installation includes connecting two new standard 6-foot washer hoses to existing accessible hot and cold taps, connecting the drain hose to an existing accessible drain, basic setup, levelling, and positioning of the unit. The delivery team will turn on the hot and cold taps and immediately check the washer fill hoses for proper connection. A full test cycle will not be performed.
Stacking of compatible laundry units is included only where a compatible stacking kit is purchased or provided free as part of an ongoing promotion for laundry pairs only, and the kit is available on site during delivery.
Electric Dryers
(Free Worth of $50 = Vent-$20 + Haul Away-$30)
Basic installation is included for eligible electric dryers. Electric dryer basic installation includes attaching dryer legs, connecting the dryer to an existing proper 240-volt outlet, connecting a new standard 5-foot aluminum foil dryer vent to the back of the unit and to the existing accessible home ventilation system where site conditions allow, plug-in and power-on testing using an existing proper 240V outlet, and levelling the appliance.
Stacking of compatible laundry units is included only where a compatible stacking kit is purchased or provided free as part of an ongoing promotion for laundry pairs only, and the kit is available on-site during delivery.
Basic installation is not included for Gas Dryers. If installation is required for a product that is not eligible for basic installation, please contact the store and we can help connect you with a qualified technician at competitive price.
Laundry Pair
(Free Worth of $130 = Two Hoses-$30 + Vent-$20 + Haul Away-$30 + Staking kit--$50)
Basic installation is included for eligible laundry pairs only. Basic installation may include removal of shipping restraints, attachment and adjustment of legs where applicable, basic setup, levelling, connection of two new standard 6-foot braided hoses to existing accessible hot and cold taps, standard drain hose installation, connection of the drain hose to an existing accessible drain, and basic steam hose/Y-connector connection only if the required parts are included with the appliance or supplied new by the customer at the time of delivery.
For eligible steam dryers, basic installation may also include connecting a new standard 5-foot aluminum foil dryer vent to the back of the unit and to the existing accessible home ventilation system, where site conditions allow, and plug-in/power-on testing using an existing proper 240V outlet, where applicable.
The delivery team will turn on the hot/cold taps and immediately check the washer fill those connections where applicable. A full test cycle will not be performed.

Ranges

Basic installation is included for eligible electric ranges only. Electric range basic installation includes placement, levelling, and connecting the electric range to an existing proper 240-volt outlet, where applicable.
Basic installation is not included with gas ranges. Gas range installation is available for $169 (includes disconnecting old gas unit) only if selected during checkout. Disconnection of the old gas unit may be included where site conditions allow and where performed by a qualified and licensed gas technician.
Dishwashers

Basic installation is not included with dishwashers unless installation is selected during checkout.
Dishwasher installation is available for $149 only if selected during checkout.
Stacking Kits
(Free Worth of $50)
Basic installation is not included with laundry stacking kits unless the stacking kit is purchased or provided FREE as part of an ongoing promotion with a compatible washer and dryer or Laundry Pair on the same order.
Laundry Pedestals
(Free Haul-Away Included Where Eligible)
Basic installation is not included with laundry pedestals unless purchased with a compatible washer or dryer on the same order.
Built-In Appliances

Cooktops, Wall Ovens, Microwaves, Freezers & Ice Makers and Ventilation

Important Installation Notes
Installation services are subject to site readiness, product compatibility, and safe working conditions.
Installation may be refused or limited if existing connections are not available, accessible, compatible, safe, or in working condition; if plumbing, electrical, gas, venting, cabinetry, flooring, structural work, or licensed trade work is required; if the appliance does not fit the space or cannot be safely moved into place; or if required accessories, hoses, cords, stacking kits, or installation parts are missing. Additional charges may apply for services not included in basic installation.
Applicable Law and Customer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits, excludes, or waives any right or remedy that a customer may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002, the Sale of Goods Act, or any other applicable law. If any part of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the mandatory legal right will apply.
