Delivery & Basic Setup Terms

Dream Home Appliances will make every reasonable effort to safely deliver your appliance to the requested room and location, provided the area is accessible and the product can fit through all entryways, hallways, stairs, elevators, and delivery paths.

Some services are included with delivery. Other services are available only where basic setup or installation is included for an eligible product, selected at checkout, or separately arranged with a qualified installer, plumber, gas technician, electrician, or other licensed professional. If setup or installation applies to your order, the Appliance Installation Policy and service limitations also apply.

Delivery, placement, inspection, and permitted basic setup do not automatically make a product non-returnable. Return eligibility is determined under the Refund, Return and Exchange Policy.

Important General Delivery Terms

The customer is responsible for ensuring that:

  • The delivery path is clear, safe, and accessible before the delivery team arrives.
  • Doorways, hallways, stairways, elevators, and the final installation area can safely accommodate the appliance.
  • Old appliances are fully disconnected, uninstalled, emptied, and ready for removal if haul-away has been requested.
  • Existing plumbing, electrical, gas, waterline, and venting connections are safe, accessible, and code-compliant to the extent required for the service being performed.

The customer or recipient should inspect the product and delivery area at the time of delivery where practical. Any visible damage, incorrect product, missing item, property damage, or delivery concern should be noted with the delivery team before signing and reported to Dream Home Appliances as soon as possible.

When Setup May Be Refused

Delivery and basic setup services are subject to product type, site conditions, accessibility, required parts, and safety at the time of delivery. The delivery team may refuse or limit setup if it cannot be completed safely or properly due to missing parts, unsafe site conditions, inaccessible or non-code-compliant connections, incorrect outlets, old or incompatible hoses, vents, or parts, or any other condition outside the delivery team’s standard scope.

In these situations, the appliance may still be delivered without connection or setup, and any return, exchange, rescheduling, return visit, or additional service request will be handled under the applicable Dream Home Appliances policies and may be subject to additional charges.
