Payment Policy
Please review the payment requirements below based on your expected delivery timeline.
· Delivery Within 30 Days or Less
Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
· Delivery Within 31–90 Days
A 20% deposit is required at the time of purchase.
The remaining 80% balance must be paid at least 30 days before the scheduled delivery date.
· Delivery Beyond 90 Days
A 20% deposit is required at the time of purchase to secure your order.
An additional 30% is due when you are ready for us to procure the products. This payment must be made at least 45 days before the scheduled delivery date.
The remaining 50% balance must be paid at least 30 days before the scheduled delivery date.
Delivery Dates and Delays
Delivery dates depend on supplier availability, manufacturer timelines, warehouse availability, delivery capacity, and customer readiness. If a delivery date needs to be changed, Dream Home Appliances will work with the customer to arrange a revised delivery date.
Nothing in this Payment Policy limits any cancellation or refund right the customer may have under applicable law if delivery is delayed beyond the period permitted by law.
Special Order and Final Sale Items
For the purposes of this Payment Policy, a product will be treated as a special order or final sale item only if it is identified as special order, built-in, luxury, custom order, non-stock, final sale, or with similar wording on the invoice, order confirmation, quote, checkout page, or other written order document provided to the customer at or before the time of purchase.
For special order items and final sale orders or products specifically marked as final sale, a minimum 30% deposit is required at the time of purchase, even if the scheduled delivery date is beyond 90 days or within 31–90 Days.
The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 30 days before the scheduled delivery date.
These items may also be subject to the applicable refund, return, exchange, and cancellation terms set out in Dream Home Appliances’ Refund, Return and Exchange Policy.
Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method unless another method is agreed to in writing or required by law.
Refunds are subject to Dream Home Appliances’ Refund, Return and Exchange Policy, including any applicable restocking fees, delivery fees, installation fees, handling fees, missing-item charges, damage charges, or other disclosed charges.
Important Payment Note
All payments must be completed before delivery. Payments cannot be made at the time of delivery.
A $50 administrative fee applies to any cheque payment that is not honoured by the bank. Cash payment options may be limited or restricted at Dream Home Appliances’ discretion.
Why Advance Payment Matters
Completing your payment in advance helps us properly source, reserve, allocate, and schedule your appliances so we can work toward delivering your order on time. This helps make your appliance shopping and delivery experience as smooth as possible.
Applicable Law and Customer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits, excludes, or waives any right or remedy that a customer may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002, the Sale of Goods Act, or any other applicable law. If any part of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the mandatory legal right will apply.
