Product Protection Plans
Dream Home Appliances offers eligible customers the option to purchase a Comerco Product Protection Plan for additional coverage after the applicable manufacturer warranty period ends.
The Comerco Product Protection Plan is optional and separate from the manufacturer’s warranty and any non-waivable legal rights the customer may have under applicable law. Purchasing or declining a Product Protection Plan does not remove any mandatory legal right or remedy.

Actual coverage, exclusions, limits, claim process, service approval, replacement decisions, and plan terms are governed by Comerco’s official plan documents and Terms & Conditions for the selected plan. If there is any inconsistency between this page and Comerco’s official plan documents, the official plan documents will govern.
Comerco Protection Plan Benefits
Depending on the selected Comerco plan, benefits may include:
- No-lemon warranty
- Preventive inspection
- Protection against power surges
- No deductible
- Transferable coverage from one owner to the next without charge
- Parts and labour coverage for up to 4 additional years
- Protection against frozen food losses, where applicable
- Service availability throughout North America, subject to plan terms
- Repairs completed according to manufacturer specifications
- Coverage backed by an insurance company
- Knob replacement and other eligible benefits, subject to plan terms

When Does Comerco Coverage Begin?
Comerco coverage begins after the applicable manufacturer warranty period expires, according to the selected plan terms. Please review your Comerco paperwork for coverage dates, claim process, exclusions, and complete plan details.
No-Lemon Coverage
After the fourth failure of the same major component during the coverage period, if Comerco decides to replace the product, the plan owner may receive an in-store credit equivalent to the original purchase price, to be applied toward a replacement appliance.
Comerco may not cover additional fees such as installation, delivery, appliance removal, recycling fees, or the cost of another protection plan. Please refer to Comerco’s Terms & Conditions for complete details.
How to Get Service with a Product Protection Plan
If you already purchased a Comerco Product Protection Plan and need service after the manufacturer warranty period has expired, please contact Comerco directly.

Before submitting a claim, please have your sales invoice, model number, serial number, purchase date, and Comerco plan documents ready.

Comerco is an independent third-party warranty provider. Dream Home Appliances may assist by providing invoice copies, product details, or general guidance where possible, but coverage, service approval, repair timelines, parts availability, replacement decisions, and claim decisions are handled by Comerco.

Applicable Law and Customer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits, excludes, or waives any right or remedy that a customer may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002, the Sale of Goods Act, or any other applicable law. If any part of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the mandatory legal right will apply.
